Reading in my hammock

green grass where the septic tank water lines run (and what my grass usually looks like in the summer when there is no drought)

death in the back yard: bird drowned in my pond (Mr. Funny fished him out), baby possum's demise (dogs? bad heart?) one of my fish died too but sadly, no photo

the doughnuts are safe, thanks to my sister in law

Chelsea Handler's new book on a beautiful summer day (finally decent weather)

Skip got a new name tag and collar, then took a car ride

  1. LOVING those doughnuts being secure. They must be PROTECTED at all costs. HAMMOCKS are awesome. You look all cozy with your book. I think I'm in love. SKIP is so cute.

Also, I want a hammock, a nap, and some Krispy Kremes, in no particular order.

  4. You and your sister in law think like me in terms of donut protection!:-) Chelsea Handler is too much. Mendi and I got to see her live a year ago and it was hilarious! Love these photo dumps! Oh and can't wait to see what you get from LUSH. :-)

  5. Blogger is NOT playing nice this morning. I have tried leaving a comment three times and hopefully it will work this time. *insert inappropriate language here*

Glad you posted what you have been up to because you KNOW I am nosey.

  6. I needs to borrow that book when you're done. I love the color for the living room and thanks for the sage suggestion! My kitchen is almost starting to come together in my head. I'm just trying to think if I do the cabinets a dark brown or maybe an off-white. I'm thinking sage walls with off-white trim and yellow accents, but can't decide on super dark or super light cabinets. Either way it's going to take forever since there are a billion cabinets and shelves in there.

  7. Oh, did I mention either yellow or aqua accents? Yeah, that too.

  9. Love the donuts - - gotta keep 'em safe. Maybe the bird and possum should have been wearing seatbelts :)

  10. i laughed really hard at the dead grass with strips of green, i was thinking "grass is always greener over yonder fence" but not at your place!!! then i see dead animals.....almost had to change my pants....lol!!! WTH?? mr. funny was way too funny in his picture, yeah, he did NOT want you taking his picture, did he? haha those donuts were priceless, and since they are one of my faves, i think i would of put them in a safe, then seat belted that in, just.in.case.....you never know if you are going to hit a hole or a bump and cause the glaze to fall off!!! lmao!!

we want a hammock to go by the pool....which will eventually go by our gazebo that will be screened in (i hate bugs!!!) so when we get all of those, pics will be posted....hopefully real soon, so we can enjoy it before Christmas!!!
